A little while ago we made a weekend excursion to Barcelona. We stayed at a little Hotel in the center, but you can find nice places for every budget.
Whether you’re looking to relax in some of the city’s many famous parks and beaches, revel in Barcelona’s illustrious club scene, or indulge in Spanish food and drink, Barcelona weekend breaks are a great way to participate in some of Barcelona’s many leisure activities.
Barcelona is a big city, but it's the perfect size to discover on foot. Spend a day away from the metro and take your time strolling around and stopping to recharge with some of the city's great gastronomic options.
I am usually no a big fan of tourist attractions, but if you want to explore Barcelona´s rich history, such as Sagrada Familia, the Picasso Museum, and Parc Güell i would recommend to just hop on one of the tourist busses. They will take you to almost every attraction you need to see and we enjoyed it.
Montjuïc mountain is the perfect place for a leafy stroll with great views, but it does take a bit of legwork to get up there, so it's less populated by tourists. But don't let that stop you.
