Sunday I started my business trip to Copenhagen and booked a room at the Axel Guldsmeden Hotel.I have the habit to cut out newspaper articles, so I remembered that I once kept one from the Couch Magazine not long ago about a hotel in Copenhagen.
The Axel Guldsmeden Hotel is located 6 minutes walk from the central station in the vibrant Vesterbrodistrict. It's an eco-friendly spa hotel with Balinese-styled rooms and organic bath products are also provided. My room was small, very well decorated and with a balcony overlooking the backyard. Unfortunately the weather was bad, so I couldn't really enjoy it.The breakfast is organic and so is dinner and served on handmade Mexican crockery you can also buy at the hotel. A nice selection of organic hot tea is provided for free at all times. The Axel Guldsmeden’s intimate inner courtyard is a popular spot for afternoon coffee or evening cocktails. In the spa area you can enjoy the sauna, hot tub and variety of skin treatments are featured in the luxurious spa. Also I rented a bicycle from the Hotel and think that this is the best way to explore Copenhagen.
